Wheel Tracking mk4 octavia

Featured Replies

When I took delivery of my new car it had some software issues and also a tracking problem. When I am on a flat straight road (A11 Suffolk/Norfolk) it pulls to the left when the steering wheel is straight, when is was in the dealership the other day they tracked it and road tested it and said it was fine . Now I am going to have to do a video of it.

Has anybody else had a tracking problem?

it’s really getting on my nerves.

Yep, mine is exactly the same. If you hold the steering perfectly straight it goes left. Had the alignment checked by an independent specialist and the wheels are straight. Just the steering wheel that's squint. Dealer was trying to tell me its because of the road camber. This was the same dealer that told me the rear brakes on my last car wore out before the front ones because "the rear brakes do most of the braking" so I wasn't expecting much in the way of sense from them.

Rear pads wear out faster every time on our Renault Laguna's 2 and 3, because the pads are way smaller. Obviously they don't do more braking.

I’ve still got to wait till I drive on that road at the weekend. Same as me the dealer said it was the lane assist  ( which also has a mind of its own)
