Paint damage -how bad?

Featured Replies

Hi all

buying a used vehicle and the dealer sent these images last minute saying their valeter has washed the car and noticed these stains in a couple places.

Their smart repair chap was not around to polish them out what is my thoughts…..

looks like possibly tree sap or something but it must have burnt into the lacquer?

Any thoughts on how easy/cost etc to get corrected would help, as supposed to collect the car this weekend and the can’t get it sorted before :(

Appreciate any feedback.

That looks more like etching from bird ****. I’d leave it with them to sort, as I’ve seen marks like that before that just won’t come out completely.

They will compound & polish out but make them do it or negotiate a good discount.

Its good that they have let you know in advance.

Definitely bird lime damage.
