Shuddering during hard acceleration

Featured Replies

First post…

I have a 2005 Skoda Octavia Estate, 2.0 tdi BKD.
during hard acceleration the whole car vibrates. Was positive it was the flywheel but I’ve also researched that it can be CV joint? I do need a cv boot on passenger side but surely that can’t be causing vibration all over the car? I can accelerate slowly up to 70 and it’s fine, but if i accelerate hard up to 70 it vibrates really bad. Sitting at 70 or any speed is perfectly fine it’s just if I put my foot down.
Added a photo of the trusty old barge cos why not

Thanks for your reply, had a look at the site you suggested but unfortunately my car doesn’t make any of those noises that the site says, I’ll be getting a new boot eventually (probably the joint as well) so I’m now almost 100% certain that it’s the flywheel.

Has the injector loom been changed  yet ?

it could be that - I had same issues with my  scout tdi
