New 20 plate 2.0 150ps owner

Featured Replies

Evening all, seen allot of posts recently about issues with the mk4 thought I'd post my initial thoughts after owning mine for nearly a month.

In short I love it really comfy ride, se technology level is spot on.

First tank brim to brim got me 59mpg and that's taking the kids to school in morning (7 miles) and the rest is general usage but I do stick to 70mph cruise where possible.

Kids love the huge rear seats.

So far so good 😁

Id also like to say thanks to all the posters of this forum for there valuable input.

Ive een a long time lurker here for the last 5 years since i sold my old 1.6tdi Fabia estate and got myself a Citroen DS3 dsport 1.6eHDI.

The 2.0TDI 150ps engine is perfect in the octy estate just enough power to be fun whilst still maintaining its furgal economy.

Yes, 2.0 TDI with 150hp is a very nice engine. Mine with DSG on a highway 300km (130 km/h + ACC + Traffic Assist), two children and a wife 4.8 l/100km (with frequent overtaking 150km/h).
