Featured Replies

Does Anybody know which one is injector 1.2.3.4

numbered from timing belt to flywheel. 1 is far left in pic, 4 is beside oil filler cap.

What about 2 and 3

It runs in order. 1 then 2 then 3 then 4.

The injector numbering should not be confused with the firing order of those injectors though.

But if you have a scanner saying injector ? faulty, then *1 is first from left, *2 is second from left, *3 is third from left, *4 is fourth from left.

I had a new motor with other injectors put in but the correction value was completely off

Also it has a high idle starts at 750 then runs at 1000rpm do u know what it might be

Is it idling or does it think there is throttle input. Ie does it recognise the throttle in this 'new' car is 0%.

I recall several values regarding this in obdeleven. No idea if / how you can adjust the offset though.

Should I check the throttle input ignition on or engine idling

Sorry, no idea. If it was an old fashioned dellorto it would be the idle air valve with the throttle closed- but it's not.

Maybe see if the throttle shuts to 0% but im guessing! So many variables.

Premably in a diesel the throttle adjusts fuel flow? Im far happier talking petrol engines.

Good luck.

check and see if the system is holding vacuum pressure.
