No audio

Apologies for the late response, it was only an intermittent issue so I was waiting for my next scheduled visit to the dealership.

However the issue came back and this time seemed persistent over 2 days, I had to work for the next 4 days with no need to use the car.

When I came to use the car, the battery was completely flat, this has happened once before, also while there was no audio.

I called out Skoda assist who have run the update so will see if this solves the issue.

With regards to the audio, I do feel it sounds a little better, but possibly also slightly quieter at the same volume level? I've only been for a short drive since so far though so I haven't tried many different tracks.

It was intermittent for me too but still annoying coming back over and over again but I did not experience battery issue from this issue since today.

However, the no audio issue had been fixed since the update, I still faced micro-issues like volume touch slider not working but this could be related to Android Audio as the slider came back when I started operating something on AA.

Hi all,

I'm also suffering with the loss of audio on my 2021 MK4 VRS. Now onto day 4 with no audio, but oddly. No Parking Sensors either?

I've attached some pics which is what appears. All very odd!

I spent 2 hours driving to DM Keith Leeds and Wakefield, looks like over a 1 week wait to be seen and they still want to charge me a full fee for an alleged software update (Although the car was sold to me with a 2 year extended warranty)

I also got the park distance error, no issues since the update so far.

It was the Skoda assist that updated it though as it also seemed to have drained the battery.

Shortly after this, the 12V battery died and Skoda assist had to come out and give it some juice. After they did, the audio and parking sensors returned!

However I was still booked into Skoda, so it went in yesterday, where I was charged £153 for two software updates...

- One for the Infotainment Screen

- One for the HV Battery where apparently if you charge the HV Battery to 100%, it drains the 12V battery.

Contacted Skoda Customer services and after being passed around like a cheap date.. Finally managed to get my £153 back!
