Anyone seen the grille modification on the new Octavia vRS done by Skodaw?. Well I reckon it looks darn good but I don't think I have seen the same mod on a Fabia!. Anyhow, piccy's below are of Skodaw's Race Blue Octy and the second is of Graham Smith's Red Fabia (hope you guys don't mind me using your cars as examples), you get the idea!.

It would look particularly good on Red and Yellow Fabia vRS's, what do you think?.

Ah, we have an expert in "stating the bleedin' obvious" :P .

I'm not so sure though, the clean look and shine of paintwork looks better than 'plastic' even on Black, IMHO.

how about a gun metal metallic finish on the grill...slightly greyish you will see on the pic

Tricky one - I've got a black Furb & I dechromed the grille surround, rest is already black/plastic gray anyway so not really worth it.

I'd imagine on the Red & Yellow versions of the vRS, and metallic green/blue versions of the non-vRS Fabias it could look really good too.

For the Silver one it's more tricky, I'd have to see that one in the flesh probably

There is a silver grill on here - forget who did it. Awaiting the return of my car from the dealer (had the black bits on the bumpers/door handles done - so want to see what they look like).

Then i might tackle the grill over the bank holiday - can you get the silver paint from halfrauds? Have been thinking about chroming the grill slats - is it possible?

I'm toying with de-chroming the grille surround on my black Furby vRS but haven't seen any pics of a car that's had it done....... Don't suppose you've got any have you matey???

I've seen a couple of pics of red cars with the grille surround painted but none of a black one...... Sod's law the one i wanna see and i can't find any pics of it.
