Wall boxes (home AC chargers)

Featured Replies

Any comments or experience on the topic of Wall Boxes? Skoda propose the PodPoint which seems OK. Octopus Energy offer the EO minipro 2 which can link to your account and only charge a night on the lowest tariffs. Getting the one without the integrated charge cable seems more flexible if you have visitors with another car brand.

Best bet for sound advice is get yourself on the Facebook group: EV Drivers UK

There are many, many experts on there with good charger and tarrif knowledge.

The little EO gets good reviews and avoid tethered, just from my EV experience.

all cars other than the old Nissan Leaf mk1 have a type 2 charger so visitors with different brands will be fine. I have had a zappi for the last 3 years, flawless to date

why do you say that?

That's our tethered PodPoint installed.

Very neat and tidy and very professional installer.

All we need now is the Enyaq.
