Skoda all-in

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've got a 2017 Octavia vRS estate (petrol). I've seen advertised the Skoda all-in deal which on the face of it, seems great as for £768 for 2 years it provides:

* 2 services - I reckon this is about £400ish of value at least (oil service with extended inspection, oil service plus air filter, pollen filter, spark plugs)

* 2 MOTs - £100

* 2 years roadside assistance - £250 (based on £125/year for AA which I pay right now)

* 2 years warranty - £?

Effectively the warranty is free with this based on my rough calculations. It's one which is backed by Skoda FS. Reading the small print and it seems like your usual aftermarket warranty (so it'd cover things if they totally blow up, but usual wear and tear exclusions etc).

Has anyone else had any thoughts on this? Got the car booked in for the inspection on Friday so would appreciate any comments.

Cheers!

Thanks. I tried searching but couldn't see that!

The link worked for me.

Skoda dealers charge £39 for MOT can’t see £200 value for that.
if you wait until Black Friday time you may find that there’s a discounted rate 30% off maybe. I’m paying £12 per month for 3 years service plus mot.
only covers routine service not the air con services

Yeah, the £100 was based on 2 years at £50/year.

This still seems a decent deal to me, although I've not really heard much (maybe it's too early) about it.

£12/month for 3 years of servicing and MOT is an awesome deal!

Debating it at the end of the year. Last December my car hit 3yrs old. I decided to pay for the Skoda extended warranty taking me into year 4.

As I'm planning on keeping the car a little while yet, I think when I take my car in early for its MOT this year, I'll get them to do the "pre-purchase checks" required to get me onto the scheme.

Like the idea of knowing that for Years 5 & 6 the car is just covered for warranty, breakdown, service and MOT.
