Drivers seat going down?

Featured Replies

Is it possible for the Kamiq drivers seat to gradually go down? is there anything in the mechanism that can leak, like the gas strut on an office chair.

That's not something that I've noticed but the rake angle of my drivers seat back has a tendency to slowly change. I have to give the adjuster a half turn or so every other time I get in. It's something that I'm going to raise with the dealer at the next service.

This is something I have noticed in both my Yeti and my Roomster, although not to the same extent.  I have to give the adjuster approx. one-eighth of a turn.

I sometimes feel the seat itself is going gradually down but I tend to adjust the seat height too many times to be sure of this.

Answer to you question no its mechanical my yeti i had seat had kept going down

I thought it was me!

The back rest of my SEL seems to have reclined every time I get in it.

Glad to know I'm not going mad [at least as far as this is concerned]

I would take the car to the dealer,to fix the problem, while the warranty lasts,it's not normal for the seat to recline on itself.

Hi have the same issue in my new Scala SEL, I will defo get it looked at while its still under warranty, its very annoying.
