can the head unit from an 06 octy 2 be changed for an aftermarket regular sized unit of decent background i.e. pioneer kenwood etc as this stream unit is melting my brain between signal drop-out , stereo-mono-stereo signal and the lack of features to build up a decent system . perhaps one of those faceplate adaptors from halfords is available or on its way to market ???? any ideas ????????

there is an adapter for the MK5 golf. It may fit, also ask the dealer as there is a blaupunkt dab unit for the Octavia they can order, so there must be a blanking plate too

There is a specific fascia adaptor for the Octavia 2

The Golf mk5 one will not fit.
