Evey time I start the car , the rpm is high and I need wait until it's getting down. For an example

I start the car , wait until it's getting down, shut down the car. (The engine is hot of course) 10 minutes later , the rpm is high again and need to wait.

Hi Yoyosmn. Can you note what rpms you see?

 

I just received the same car yesterday and we can see if its identical. So far i just start the car and just wait a few seconds to engage the gear and drive off. i haven't noted the first start idle RPMs yet.

 

Most high idle flare is to heat up the catalysts and lambda sensors to ensure quick closed loop emissions control. Could be due to this.

I’m driving a 1.0 e-tec, in starting it the rpm is 1500.

It sounds the same as the previous TSI engines then.

 

It's normal and is part of the catalytic converter warmup. The revs rise, engine and valve timing is changed and the exhaust from outside can sound "gargly" and loud.
