The Amundsen update to 0478 was supposed to fix a number of issues including WLAN reliability. Had a strange one today where I had internet access via my iPhone Hotspot, but the Internet Logo stayed red on the screen. I was able to load the Skoda Connect services, download a route and view various bits of info all apparently without an internet connection.

Yes, it does that. That 'globe' acts on trying to ping the VW backend and if the server is not responding then your globe stays Red, but the connection is actually happening.

Perfectly normal.
