Just a quick hi to say Hi.

im now on my second Skoda my first was a 2013 Octavia Cr Elegance which I have had for five years and loved it. I am now the proud owner of an ex demo Superb Sportline Plus which I am kinda in love with at the minute. I’m also into high end hifi so if you want to chat about any thing like that I’m always up for it. I’m also an avid hill walker so I suppose that’s another avenue for a chat.
Anyhoo that’s me in a nutshell hope to meet you all through time.

Hi, I've just purchased an SE L EXECUTIVE TDI DSG estate in white. Thrilled to bits with it. Looking forward to wax polishing it. This forum seems to be very friendly and helpful. I found it trying to figure out why the torch in the boot won't light up. Cheers.

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA

I have just changed the oil and filter on my Rapid Spaceback 1.2 Petrol but cannot seem to reset the message 'Change engine oil' from the display.Any advice please.

I have my Fabia from new 12 months and have always had intermittant issues with the infotainment screen. Usually the touch screen doesn't work, or you press any button and it selects the Radio. Also, it's like it's locked so I can't answer or make calls, look at Google Maps ( I use Android Auto) I have been to the Main Dealer 5 times, have had the touchscreen replaced and it is still having issues. Apparently a part is on order from Germany which should have been here back end of last year and

Hi guys, Just looking for a few opinions here. Bought my wife a 2012 Mk2 Fabia (1.2 Greenline TDI CR CFWA) a couple of weeks ago from a reputable small garage. MIL appeared after about 8-9 days. Comes on for hours then off again. Rinse and repeat. It is throwing 3 codes: P2016 - Intake Manifold Position Sensor (Circuit low) P2015 - Intake Manifold Position Sensor (Range performance) P0672 - Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Circuit I saw that you can use a bracket to limit the actuator movement on the
