Just purchased a mirror dash cam which supports reversing guide lines and rear view when the red wire is connected to the reversing lights.

 

Camera works great and would like to connect up the reversing function.

 

Any ideas how to access the rear of the light cluster or any where else I can get access to the reversing signal. 

 

No obvious access panel but guess with LED lights they don't expect you to need access.

Following. I have same setup, an apeman mirror dash cam which comes with an optional reversing and rear view camera.

Have you positioned the rear camera/where are you positioning it? I dont fancy drilling into the bodywork 

Already have the camera positioned and did decide to drill.

 

I have it above the numberplate just to the left of the boot release and drilled begin the numberplate.

 

Drilled through and used a rubber grommet and sealent to make it water tight.

 

 

Did you manage to get access to rear reverse light? And how?
