Can anyone recommend anywhere to have wheels sorted?

 

I have my original set of spiders on the MK1 Octavia vrs, they're not overly tatty given age but the passenger side is an absolute nightmare for losing air, even after reseals etc. 

 

I'm thinking of getting it checked out and potentially refurbished, spending on all four corners because of one is a little bigger sweet though! 

 

 

The problem with refurbishing rims is that if you need a replacement rim in the future it might not match the other rims, unless the refurbished rims have been carefully matched to the original finish.

 

A 16" Scala/Kamiq rim could be used on the Octavia MK1 RS model, then you would have the old rims to sell.

 

Many people need single rims when one gets damaged, so that could be the way to maximise resale value with the old rims. A single rim is also easier to post.

 

The below rim is claimed to weigh 9.4kg. The narrow 6J width helps protect the rim from kerbing damage when fitted with a 205/55R16 tyre, as the narrower rim makes the sidewalls bulge out more.
