different "cheaper" tint option?

Featured Replies

There is a company on flea bay selling "sunshades" for the Fabia. Just wondering if anyone else has them? I won an auction for them last night... but here is a taster of what i might expect on delivery....

the good things i think will be...

Removable in 5 mins

Able to open window whilst sunshades . tint remain in position

Much cheaper than window tints / film

Possibly legal???

privacy ;)

Reduce the heat inside your car by upto 30%

what u think????

the beauty of air con

the beauty of air con

exactly who would open there windows when you have air con. It even says in the manual not to cool the vehicle down by opening the windows, but to use air con instead to stop the cabin becoming polluted from outside.

so.. what do u think?

or shall we talk about air con all day? meow!!!! (milk for me)

It kinda depends how well they are supported with the windows down. I'd imagine you wouldn't want to lower the rear windows too far if you have your front ones down at speed, but then I wouldn't have them down at too high a speed anyway :)

Might be a good alternative to pull-down blind-type ones, the fit looks good at first glance but when you get them, bring on those pics :D

Not sure I'd have the rear window blocked with them personally unless I was parked up but to keep the sun out they look good

the firm hasnt closed... but from the sounds of it they are thinking about selling direct to dealers. I paid £46, but they are planning on selling to skoda for £60, and let skoda sell them for whatever they want.

Maybe they would accept a GB from Briskoda?

It cools the car down a hell of a lot - and blocks people from seeing if you have left something on the back seat!

new website will be www.oesunshades.com

I like the look of them, would be intrested in some.

I like them too. Will get a kit for my estate next month. My doughter will apr them. Love your car. Wish I could get a vRS, but they are expensive here in Norway, and I need the space of the estate. So I will have to stick with my mpi :P

Have to agree I think they look smart and I cant really see any downsides to them at all. Is visability good for passengers in the back and does it look good from the inside ?

Would be very interested in possibly buying some of these myself.

visibility is no problem. And yer they look ok from the inside. - lol what more can i say....

well worth the wonga. better than paying £200 for film. Plus they are removable too. I personally remove one of mine when dog is in the car, to stop him ripping it with his paws. If i had film, the film would need replacing after having muttley in the car.

I like the look of them too.

Thanks for the pics, Paxton!

I am up for a group buy on these as well, just the right time of year for them too!

its up 2 one of you guys / gals to sort a GB out - i already have them - lol

I'd be interested in a set of these for my fabia...

They look tons better than the crap boots things I have atm
