Genuine Superb 2 roof bars

Taken from my now sold Superb 2 estate. Fully functional, with marks from use, they are aluminium so may polish up.

These are quite an awkward size for postage so would prefer collection. May be able to discuss postage...

Lower tyre pressures to improve ride?

I'm very happy with my Mk.SEL except for the somewhat harsh ride. Previous VW's had a 'comfort' setting for tyre pressures so would it be sensible to reduce the presures on the 16" tyres by about 4psi from the normal settings of 37psi/ 40psi ? I'd be very grateful for comments.

I thought other Octavia owners might have had this problem, but couldn't find anything posted. So here's how I fixed it. The black plastic lowest portion of the rear bumper popped out from being connected to the body-coloured part immediately above, as a result of a light contact with a low barrier when parking. After levering up the tabs, so that they would engage with the slots in the coloured bit, no amount of pushing or thumping on the black bit would get them to re-engage, as the coloured

Hi , hope someone can shed some light on a this . On an 2021 Octavia fault says. The regeneration frequency of Diesel Particulate Filter is not ok , says the fault is permanent . Car is due to go for software update , would this have something to do with it. Thanks

Hi All odd situation in that the rear doors no longer lock/unlock. front two are fine. is this a known fault and is there a wiring diagram that might help locate the looms? Given the bilateralism I am assuming that the problem is behind the dash. cheers Justin

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass
