Think I've had enough

Featured Replies

Had high hopes when purchasing my mk4 vrs Estate. Had the car 5 months and already had my fair share of software issues. Heater/climate not loading problems with smart locking etc. Now thinking of selling it back to the dealership.

Go for it, did return my 2.0 TDI a month ago.

Life is to short for daily faults.

I think you should be rejecting for unfixed faults rather than voluntarily selling it back, which would be at a much lower price.

Have a look at these threads, gives lots of handy advice on what to do

Each to their own.

Personally, I'm hanging on in there. Bough the car in March, left at dealers in April and driving a loan Octy 4 since then. The loan car is fault free and a pointer to how nice these cars can be! Encouraging noises for a fix to my own too (despite several false dawns).

It you do choose to get rid, then as @SurreyJohn says, aim to reject rather than sell back.
