Park Assist retrofit?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am thinking to fit the car with park assist and the reason for this is not to use the automatic parking but to have 4 extra sensors around the car.

My big concern is if there will be pre marked position of the sensors. I looked on photos where exactly are positioned those sensors but I have no access to look if they are pre marked.

I wrote to Kufatec and sent my VIN number to them and they confirmed that my car is suitable for this retrofit (I have front and rear sensors and blind spot sensors from the factory) but they said that they have no manual for this retorfit.
Does anyone know where I can find diagram of the wiring and if there is pre marked positions? I look on other topics like Fabia and there is pre marked holes bur they are for rear sensors which is more common but could not fine anything about side sensors.
If there is no pre marked sensors what I can do is to make find car with park assist and make template of the position of the holes but I am not sure if I can do the wiring without the diagram.

I hope someone will be able to help me with this. Thank you!
(and sorry for my english, its obvious that it is not my first language)

Sorry for the double post but I forgot to attack a photo and can not edit my previous post.

Usualy they have but it is still new and they told me that they do not have it right now. I can wait 3 years anyway because if I do it now this will mess up my warrany. But will do it for sure later. It is same price as ordering it from the factory with is cool because for example if you want to fit electric boot u need to spend 1500euro but from factory for 1000euro as package you get tow hitch, camera and electric boot.
