Hello.

 

I brought my Roomster last month.

 

All doors opened when viewing it, fresh mot etc.

 

Got it back cleaned it, all doors opened etc.

 

But now the rear passenger door on the nearside won't open, won't open from the outside or inside.

 

Can it be easily fixed? 

 

I was thinking of disconnecting the battery... maybe that will "reset" the system?

 

Apparently it could be a fuse? But if it a fuse the other doors wouldn't open would they?

 

All other doors and boot open from outside/inside and lock fine.

 

I have also tried the spare key and still the same issue....

 

Not really an issue with me as I am using it as a van... but Apparently needs to be working/opening for a mot...

May be the lock failed I had this as an intermittent fault sometimes open sometimes not ,replaced lock all ok. Just make sure you buy correct lock.

Locks do sometimes stick, if you are very lucky you can sometimes free them by sticking the tiny tube on top of WD40 cans down the window rubber.

 

If not, then it is usually new lock motor required
