Key fob

Featured Replies

Hi, i know fobs have been talked about before but i can't find my answer.

I recently bought a 2011 Roomster that only came with a key (see photo) and no key fob. Would it have had key fobs originally? As i dont have one i cant get one cloned, is my only option a dealer?

Thanks.

You'd need 1, and normally get 2, if the car is fitted with remote central locking and/or a factory alarm system.

Thanks, im not sure if it has remote locking but it is alarmed on the key operation and the key opens the drivers door or all door.

Any idea if a skoda dealer would be able to do a key fob?

Yes, and code it to your car, which would be an issue for anyone else to do in your situation.

Thank ken,

Ill see how much they want to rob me of and make a decision.

Underneath boot's carpet there is a sticker. The same sticker should be at the first page of car's service book or owner's manual.

It is full of codes.  Visit http://igorweb.org/equidec.aspx insert these codes and you will get back a full list of your car's equipment.
