Concerning droplet water headlight

Featured Replies

Heya folks, had my car washed at the local pakistani's.

Blokes do a good job, but they kinda get too close with the highpressure lance.

When i got home i noticed this droplet of water behind the lens of my headlight...should i be concerned?

I'm aware these headlights fog up easily with condensation, but this seems like a leak.

Yes, I'd say that they got too close / keen with the pressure washer, and some water has leeched into the headlamp. It's not going to affect the operation of the lamp, and once it dries out it will mostly go away. It may leave a small stain, but you'll have to live with that unless you fancy removing the entire bumper assembly, the lamp, and dismantling it to clean the inside.

Hope this helps - and may I respectfully suggest that you edit your post to remove the word 'Pakistanis' - it's unnecessary and a wee bit derogatory. Cheers!

None of them do a good job for £5. Just FYI.

Halogen? If so, then drive around with them on for an hour or two and it'll dry out.
