Superb 3 anti roll bars

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I’ve got a 2017 Laurin and Klement superb, and I’d like to try to reduce the amount of body roll it suffers - which is a lot.

I’ve had a Whiteline ARB on an Octavia VRS before which helped, but according to their website there isn’t one for my Superb. Some Googling suggests that aftermarket ARBs aren’t easy to come by for the Superb 3.

One idea I did have was that maybe I could acquire a set of ARBs for the Superb Sportline (with DCC), because surely they would fit my car and be stiffer?

Any insight on this one is welcome!

The swaybar for the MK7 Golf GTi will fit the non-AWD Superb.

Likewise, swaybar for the mk7 Golf R will fit the AWD Superb.

Hence there r plenty of choices out there.

Do ur research.

Search on this forum - there is a discussion topic with pages n pages of info.

A Superb Sportline with DCC won't have stiffer swaybars.

I too had a Whiteline ARB on my previous car, a mk2 Octavia RS.

There is a Whiteline ARB that works with the mk3 Superb.

I fitted a Hardrace 24mm rear swaybar in mine.  I have factory DCC shocks and Eibach springs.

Great mod they r, swaybars.

thanks for the info
Are your Eibach springs lower than the stock ones or just stiffer?

The Eibach Prokit springs r lower.

If u have standard suspension - it will lower the car 35mm.

If u have DCC suspension - it will drop the car 25mm.

Cars with DCC r already 10mm lower than standard, so the drop is less with Eibachs.

I'm not sure how much lower it will drop with Sportline non-DCC or Sportline with DCC.

I've got the Whiteline ARB kit (Front, Rear, bushes and control arms) on mines from the Golf R.

Most people go for the rear only which suit their needs.

I had Eibach ARBs on my MK2 VRS previously and in comparing to the Whiteline's ARB, I would say the Eibach's felt stiffer.

I prefer the WL ARBs tbh, they suit the Superb meaning they are softer however they have made a vast difference going round corners and it doesn't feel like a barge anymore!

So I ordered a rear bar.  Turns out I selected the Golf R bar that fits to the 272/280 (plus other awd models).  I assuming it wont fit my fwd setup?  Yes I will climb under the car and compare the bars but thought I check here first.  Main difference I can tell is the awd version has an extra bend about 2/3's along to clear something.  Exhaust maybe?  I can see me returning it for a GTI bar.

Won't fit ur non-AWD Superb.

Return it and get the GTi version.
