Timing belt, tight in one side, little loose in the other side.

Hello.

 

Just inspecting the car i found that the timing belt is tight between  the pump and cam pulley, but it is loose etween the pump and water pump.

That's the tight side when the engine is running.

I have another question.

Doing a general revision of the work the mechanic did.. one of the three bolts of the injection pump NEEDED JUST A LITTLE BIT OF TORQUE,Just a little bit.

I did it and everything alright...

 

 

That was last night (yesterday)

 

Today, i do notice the car idling with 0.4L per 100km instead of 0.3...anything to do?

The belt is fine how did you tighten up the bolt? torque wrench or gudentite?

Your test is invalid. You only actually test free play on the longest run, but that does look OK yes.

Which bolt, the tensioner? 

Only up to the mark
