Usb cable

Featured Replies

Any recommendation for the usb cable which works with columbus USB C port? I have some unknown long USB A from the box which works fine. I changed it to amazon's own short USB c cable from the USB c port from center console. It started to make the problem that it refuses to connect the phone to car. Just keeps reconnecting without actually connecting it. Dont know it has connecting error, as it was working fine earlier (didnt upgrade the software or anything). Columbus has the latest software downloaded. Phone is Samsung galaxy s20, if that matters.

When I first got the car and tried to use Android Auto it wouldn't work using several USB cables I had at home.  When I researched the subject on Google the one point that kept being repeated in every article was that a top quality USB cable was almost always the reason for failure to connect.  So I got a SYNCWIRE one similar to this and it has worked seamlessly ever since.

Up to that time I had thought all USB cables were created equal but you live and learn as they say.
