7.5J or 8J for 225? Example pictures?

Featured Replies

So i'm thinking about winter wheels. Its going to be 255/45/18. But what wheel size and perhaps ET42 or stock ET48?

Would like to see pictures of 7.5" and 8" with 225 tyres.

I think you mean 225/45R18.

wheel-size.com and "skoda eshop cz" are showing 7.5Jx18 ET48

However, you can get 7.5Jx18 ET50 steel rims from the VW ID.3 that would fit as the offset is only 2mm different. Might be ideal for winter tyres.

Oh yeah. 225/45/18 is what i ment.

At the moment i'm getting 3rd party rims which i'm struggling to device between 8" or 7.5". If it would be 7.5" i think i might go with ET42 to make them stand out abit more.

Just wondering if someone has gone with 8" and might have some examples.

235/45/18 ET 42, a bit over size but good looking. Car was returned 3. month ago.
