I have an octavia 1.9 tdi with and original sound system with gps. Want to install a new head unit. It has to have gps and a dab radio(digital radio) because i live in norway and we are the only country in the world that has closed down FM and replaced it with dab. I see you can get a lot of cheap head units from dealxtreme and ebay. Any good suggestions? I know my car is one of those models that lack the acc cable, i think it comunicates with the car digitaly via canbus.

I got a Junsun branded android 10" radio that fitted straight in. It communicates via the can bus system so displays parking sensors and climate info etc.

 

I also bought a USB DAB receiver. Do you already have a DAB antenna?

I do have an antenna yes. I already have a little small external dab adapter via aux. But i really want the dab integrated in the head unit. Feel free to link to units you recommend

@FUBAR has a decent one in his mk3, cant see it being too incompatible with a mk2
