I have a Skoda Fabia 1.4 MPI 50kW, year 2000, confort, with some problems:

 

Part 1 ---

Driver windows is not opening. At the moment its fully closed and i hear the "click" when trying to close, but when im trying to open it nothing happens. Passanger side its working good (opens and closes from both consoles).

 

Part 2 ---

In addition, drivers door doesnt lock, using the remote control button or using the key direclty in the keylock. After trying to lock the car, the little led above the door lock blinks red normally, but when i push the drivers door handle, door opens and car lights blink for around 10 seconds. All other doors lock correctly.

 

The car was ok some weeks ago.

 

Hope someone can share any idea how to fix those problems. Thank you all for your attention.

When your trying to open your window do your hear the electric motor going if so then its probs like mine was and the cable snapped which means replacing the mech I just purchased the complete window carrier they are not very expensive and its quite a straight forward job to replace hour or so.

Hello, i dont hear the "click" when trying to open the window. Only hear the "click" when i try to close. Must be something electric.

 

Window carrier has been replaced a year ago.

Does the window open if you turn the key in the lock and hold it?

Hello. Just tried that. Only the passengers Windows opens.

Ok, it sounds like the wiring loom in the door boot may have failed, take a close look while you can still open the door.
