Good afternoon all, I recently purchased a vrs pd130 which has had a remap to 170bhp. The slave cylinder seems to have gone and instead of just putting another in wanted an idea on what brand is best for the extra power and also a better clutch. Thanks for the help guys!

A slave is a slave is a slave.

 

A new standard clutch and DMF is all you need for your remapped standard car, my preference is for LUK or Sachs parts.

Cheers sepulchrave I’ll have a look online! It’s weird cause the slave doesn’t seem to be leaking as level the same and it’s only first and reverse that has the issue! It will in first with the clutch fully in move on its own so box out it is I think! 

Sounds like the clutch is dragging, get it to bits and replace the lot.

It sounds like you may need the shim mod rather than a new slave cylinder:
