Ive recently bought the car and ive got the bulb fault warning light on the dash and noticed that the passenger side rear light isn't working when headlights are turned on! Tried switching bulbs across checked fuses ect but I've noticed that connector to the light is missing one pin out off the end which I'm hoping is the issue but can't see a wire anywhere anyone able to confirm there should be 6 wires in the connector instead of 5 or a wiring diagram?

I think 5 wires is normal on the nearside, no foglight which would be the pin 1 wire.

Pin 2, the thin grey/black wire should be the tail light. Make sure you have the correct P21/4W bulb fitted.

Thankyou my pin 2 had been cut and spliced into the other side tail light I've traced the wire back and connecting it to the original wire but still not working for some reason 

Does the sidelight at the front work on that near side?

... also @Tookie and that it is the correct way round. It's really hard to do, but I've seen a 4/21 bulb fitted backwards!

The side light on the same side doesn't work from what I can see!! the more I look into things on the car I notice how bodged everything is only had car a week already worst decision buying it 

Fuse 34  may be your problem.

Checked that seems fine I've pulled wiring apart as whoever wired the usdm kit in has done a right mess off that so need that's been removed and will be going back to original once I get some more solder definitely wire related with how everything has been messed with i reckon 

Please explain what USDM means, its not something that I have heard of.

Basically having the indicators turned on as side lights there's kits you can buy online cheap enough just whoever done it on the car before I bought it has messed all the wiring up and bodged it together

USDM = US Domestic Market

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market
