We ordered our SEL scala with a few upgrades from a dealer in early July. Went into build September 6th and is still showing as in build according to the dealer. Fingers crossed it will be finished asap and then shipped across to us. 

Yeah hopefuly you can receive it soon. Also ordered july but no build date or information. Only an extimate of a build date somewhere 2022 😕

I have placed my order on the 6th of July in Hungary for an 1.5Tsi manual Style, with several extras. More than 4 months elapsed but there is still no any information available, not even production week (delivery was estimated for 18-22 weeks overall when ordered). So no difference in Hungary either..

Well...same in Slovenia...ordered Kamiq 1.5 dsg with few extras (that are no more available in a configuration at this moment in my country) and last news that I got was "maybe December" although I dont have any production date...only information that I got from the dealer is that the color (moon white) is confirmed on my order..but I kinda dont believe Ill see it this year heheh 🙈

Yeah it is not looking good and i guess the july 2021 orders will be for februari the soonest or march 2022 😕  But hope some July 2021 orders are getting made.

Well I just hope they will delay also some facelifts and bigger changes as well… 😜

The Karoq facelift is allready in production and the Scala minor facelift is probably august 2022. No other facelift afaik planned in 2022. Some option removals are being implemented tho like canton removal and Side assist, ...

Yes, I noticed they took out side assist and electric rear door…exactly what’s on my order 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just for a update...I got call from my dealer earlier today...emagine my face expression when I saw his number on my phone 🤩...but it quickly went from yaay to naay 😆

Anyhow...he said that if Im willing to loose some extras that I ordered in my car, I could get it by the end of November...and those few extras were more or less everything in my car...side assist, digital display, electric opening for back door, amundsen infotainment and wireless phone charging...and if I stick to all of it it can take some more time to deliver it...but yet they dont know how long...

Well I decided to stick with my order...so Ill wait some more I guess...

But as he was saying...they got a notice from Skoda, that they will try their best to complete and deliver all the vehicles that were ordered till the last of september 2021 by the end of the year...well lets see

Oh that is some good news, guess the manufacturing of chips went 100% in Malasia so it looks to be giving it a boost. I have not heard anything atm from my dealer so i hope a lot you are right and i will receive it still this year.

We ordered our Scala in first week of May 2021 and our dealer said that the car will be delivered in the end of October. That is what was written in our order. In the middle of May I called my dealer to add some more extras to the order and he said that our car order was locked because they will produce it in middle of June and we can get the car by the end of July and we had it in the end of July and was amazing that they build our car so quickly.

And you who will get your cars in 2022 will get the facelift. Who knows?

No the facelift is somewhere 3e quarter of 2022 and only slight difference from the outside.  Wont have an E-brake on that platform i believe, but maybe 360 view.

Just heard that our car is now complete and just awaiting transport from the factory. Should be with us in 4-6 weeks.

Wow, thats great. I hope we will be able to retrofit the 360 view to older scalas.... I will do it right away if it is possible.

Good news Skodafamilyuk   You are lucky it got built in september ! I have seen nothing or heard nothing.  And Wiegott i do not think they will make the 360 view available on scala as it is not sold that much so wont get that much love i believe. And if it would a retrofit would be unlikely with all the cameras and sensors + learning those in.  But if you really want to and spend lots on it, you can upgrade it to whatever you like

I just hope it arrives with everything it should have on the spec we ordered. They had just added the reverse camera as standard on the SEL when we ordered and I think it has now been taken of again. 

Asked my sales representative at the dealership about the possible delays, and if that 140 days for the delivery is realistic considering the situation.

 

The guy says the car will arrive within that period 🤷‍♂️

We ordered a 1.0 SEL with a few extras at the beginning of September. We had an email today to say the car is sat at the docks and should be with the dealer in 2-3 weeks. This was having been given a six month lead time at the point of ordering so maybe the semi-conductor issue is resolving itself.

That's roughly about when I ordered my Scala 1.5 Style. A rather encouraging info.

It Looks like UK really has some advantage to other EU country as i ordered in july 21 and still nothing. And you ordered in september and allready have it produced 😕 So i believe some countries have much more slots at the factory than others.

6th of July order in Hungary for an 1.5Tsi manual Style, still no news.

That's also possible, yeah. What does the dealership say when you ask them?

Litteraly no new information but estimate somewhere 2022 build date. They keep saying "i will let you know when we know more". I called them earlier this week and i understand they do not know more but seeing others getting it earlier is baffling 😕 I am glad they get it early tho but just a pain in the ass as everyone has their own struggles while waiting on the new car thats kept on delaying.

Yeah, I understand. I still didn't get a chassis number for my Scala. Who knows what's the order they're making those cars... Let's just keep our fingers crossed for the best outcome 😕
