Some of you may already know but my dad runs a Fabia Estate PD100.

He recently had an issue with the oil pressure warning light illuminating on the dash. The pressure switch was changed but to no avail so the car was recovered to Sparshatts on Monday afternoon.

They investigated the problem and confirmed that the oil pressure was more than adequate but on further investigation found a wiring loom problem.

They contacted the Factory, sending them pictures etc and I am pleased to say that they have agreed to change the entire loom, which is priced at

That's good news. Such service should be congratulated

And to Sparshatts - my experience of their Subaru dealership in Botley was far from good!!!

It would appear to be a 'known' water ingress issue.
