2015 Octavia RS - tyres

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2015 Octavia RS with 19" Xtreme alloy wheels;

I have factory size 225/35R19 tyres & will need to get at least 2 x new tyres at least soon.

Questions:

1) I think I have seen that 235/35R19 size tyres are a good option that fit OK?
(& give a bit of extra comfort/rim protection)

2) Would I need to replace all 4 tyres at once? - or can I essentially have a mix at this stage until I replace the other pair?
(ie front tyres the new 235/35R19 & the rear the current 225/35R19)

Cheers,

Nick

I have the same wheels and yes, 235/35R19 fit perfectively, as I changed from 235/35R19 to help protect the alloys, as well as give a little more grip. I also changed firstly the front 2 tyres to the larger width and then the rear 2 when they were worn down.  I use Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tyres which give me fantastic grip with my mapped motor.

I of course meant I changed from the standard width of "225"/35 R19 TO 235/35/R19. Bit of a small error on my previous post.

Make sure you only mix them per axle. When i got my car I had 235 on the front and 225 on the rear
