Hi there all just new on here only owned skoda octavia vrs 2.0 tdi 

A few month always seemed to not start straight away fired up second are 3rd time .but started but since then I got car remapped was the same as above 2nd are 3rd time started . But now car will not start at all so bought send hand fuel pump with new gasket and changed fuel filter car will still not start no codes found does any one have any idear heard people saying could be air in fuel system but thought turning it over would get rid of it but it will not start any help on this thanks

Some things you can check:

 

1. Battery in good charged condition and cranks engine in a lively fashion.

2. All fuses under bonnet and in passenger cabin intact.

3. When you first click the ignition can you hear the fuel pump activate for a few seconds? it's under the rear seats atop the diesel tank.

4. Tried EZ start or some other aerosol to see if the engine will offer?

5. Check the fuel is actually reaching the tandem pump?

6. If this happened only when the engine is hot it could be a faulting coolant temperature sensor, disconnect and retry.

7.... too tired to think but that should give you something to go on

Starter motor gave me very similar problems.
