Kamiq problems start stop and cruise control

Featured Replies

Firstly hello all im new to the forum.

I purchased a skoda kamiq less than a week ago and im experiencing some problems the one is cruise control does not work when applied it just surges and drops in power then gives up and just drops speed. Ive found out through searchs onnthe forum this is probably the stork at fault. My second problem is the start stop system. It will work if i keep the clutch slightly pressed down but if i release the clutch fully when stopped and in neautral it just restarts the engine. Im taking it this isnt right ive had lots of start stop vehicles before but never one that works like this. Any help greatfully recieved car is booked in with skoda but its really giving me a head scratching moment

As regards cruise control, I have only ever managed to engage it by accident.

The car was in its 14 day return policy and as now gone back to the dealer it kept displaying stop/start error on the screen it started to misfire going through the gears cruise control and limiter both didnt work and the front screen kept building up with condensation so after a rough few weeks i decided to hand it back and bought a kia Stonic
