So my 2010 6 speed DSG 2.0L 170 bhp Superb Estate has suddenly developed a problem , that at the moment is intermittent.
When sometimes selecting reverse , there is no drive and the only way to get the car to reverse is to turn the engine off and re start in Park and re select reverse. This has now happened approx half a dozen times and need to get professional diagnosis.

 

I am based near Poole Dorset and would appreciate any I dependent company that under take this wand potential fix on the DSG.

cant help with suggesting a decent firm but is there a vag speceilest near to where you live at all that can plug a laptop in?

Sorry no help, but,

Have you not had the car long enough to have had anyone do the Servicing of the DSG, or do you not know who or where the last place is that did it?

DSG box was serviced , oil change 1500 miles ago. The more I read the more it looks like the Mechatronic brain/ unit .

Will take it into an bid when I source one

I would certainly get this checked out… this was the last Symptom I had on my car.

 

in the end it was a new clutch and some solenoids changed and runs like a dream!

 

I did have codes showing up when I scanned the car too.
