Hi all,

Got a MK2 fabia Vrs CTHE and it seems to be running pretty rich. Can smell fuel at idle and under aggressive load had people say it smells sooty.

After having a dig around, I found a split in a pipe (see pictures).

Not sure what this is but there is a hissing (not sure if positive or negative air pressure)

Anyone know what this part is? I can't find it online anywhere... (Part no. 03c 103 175 L)

Maybe this air leak is the cause of the rich running but if anyone has any other ideas?

That's a vacuum pipe so you need to fix any air leaks properly.

thats part of the breather system, just replace it.
