good morning i have just bought a Skoda Octavia scout 2016, i talked to the dealer about getting the smartlink fully installed as my i phone works phone & contacts, but the maps dont go through to the screen, they are saying it need upgrading at a cost of £150 to £200 pounds, can anyone help with this,

In order to see what you want on the screen they are correct as Smartlink that enables a wired connection from an iPhone (apple car play app) or android phone (android auto app) is not enabled on your year car and it costs  £150. -200. 

 

Oh and don't skimp on a cable as there are lots of issues reported using cheap ones that don't connect properly.
