i Brought a Superb 3u mk1 2l 140bhp 99k miles a year ago with the dreaded pollen filter leak ( didn't know at the time of buying)

that's actually how i found this site  whilst looking for a fix - with thanks 😁

 

got that sorted fairly handy with the help of theis Group and now looking to mod it a little.

 

so far ive

changed the alloys

upgraded the lights to leds

fitted touchscreen system

chipped with racechip.com

drilled and grooved discs

rear spoiler

front light brows

tinted windows

 

i have on order

front de badge grill and rear light covers.

 

now looking to see if i can install front fog lights in the bumper tho i can t find much to suit just yet.

Welcome to the forum, tumbleweeds blowing through here of late, have you addressed the oil pump drive issue with that engine?

No I haven't,  the last owner did some work but unsure about that. I've had no trouble with it so far !! 

 

Worth checking over tho ? 

Use the search function with keywords 2.0PD 140, Oil pump drive etc you will find plenty there to keep you reading for the afternoon, filter for Superb Mk1 only so it limits the results

ok seams im all good for a while 😀

 

 

 oil pump drive was done and big end shell bearings done as a precaution around 80 ,000 miles - so only  20,000 miles ago
