Reverse lights.... help

Hi there... first post and all that...

My reverse lights arent working on my fabia, i have checked the fuse - not that and i have checked the bulbs, not that.

What could it be ?!

Bet it will be the switch, 1.2 by any chance.

Simple test, pull of the plug on the switch on the front of the gearbox, bridge out the two pins. The light should now come on.

yes... is a 1.2. Switch on front of gearbox??

Im lost, will have a hunt tomorrow... how much for a new switch if it is?

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. So here i am, about to order a Smokey Silver 1.5tsi DSG SEL, but i have never ordered a new car before so am a bit ' giddy ' on what to add in options..... The spare wheel is a given and f

Hi. I've just had the touchscreen replaced and happy to say everything is all working again with the exception of the clock which is stuck at 12:00. The second hand is still working though. The time on the dashboard behind the steering wheel is working fine and can be adjusted. Can anyone please advise me ho to adjust the clock on the touchscreen when it is in standby mode? Many thanks.

Hi guys I'm new here. I have a Skoda Fabia mk2 2011 tsi. I've noticed the clip on the left were the shelf parcel clips is broken but not completely snapped off. So I used some super glue; not sure if this would work and how long it would last. How can I replace this please? It seems to be part of a panel. Thank you all

2022 Skoda Octavia 1.5tsi estate. Following a battery issue, I now have 10 CAN Network Gateway faults, all related to low voltage. The battery has been replaced with a new one but I need to register the new one with the car. I have a Carista EVO reader but it won’t reset the fault codes. Reads them fine but won’t reset them. (I’ve subscribed for a month so that part is fine.) I checked the battery voltage and it was 14.1v so I took the car for a 30 minute drive to see if the car’s computer/sens

We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which
