Small amount of oil out of air intake

Featured Replies

Good morning,

I recently purchased my Skoda superb elegance 2.0 tsi 2012. Absolutely love it, very smooth and rather quick.

I was cleaning the engine bay and noticed a small amount of oil on the plastic air intake where it joins the top of the turbo.

Please see diagram for location, its around number 3.

It looks like it's been there a while and is on the electrical plug in below it, also, gravity only.

My thoughts are just a new o ring needed inside the plastic pipe? It's at the back of the engine behind the belt cover, no oil from that. No engine issues, clear scan and no oil loss noticeable.

Any advice welcome.
