Anybody know the output voltage of the USB-C sockets? 

A standard usb-c is 5v and 3A i beleive so thats what id expect.

Bugger. Just bought some USB-C to 12v cigarette lighter socket adapters to power some auxiliary lights. Explains why only the neon on the switch lights up!

Thatll be it.  USB-C can deliver up to 20v but only if designed and specified with that level of power delivery in mind but i very much doubt the skoda ones are.
