Fabia fog lamp connection!

Featured Replies

Its even more of a stupid cost saving on the furby than the tavia!!!! The bulb in the near side is exactly the same as the bulb in the offside! ie twin filiment as its a 4w/21w bulb with the 21w being for the fog lamp. Its the bottom bulb as the stop light is the top bulb. The bulb holder circuit board has connections for a twin bulb. BUT THE WIRE IS MISSING ON THE NEAR SIDE!!!! HOW STUPID!!! How much has this really saved skoda? I will see if I can source the little metal connector for the end of the wire as this can be easily inserted in the connector (as this can by opened up) that goes onto the back of the light. It will be then imply a case of running the wire to the offside along the boot floor and attaching it to the wire in position one.

What you've described above is the same as the octy hatch, the estate involves some cutting and a new bulb and holder - which are also required for the BMW 320 fog light mod ! ;)
