No, this is not scaremongering...this is a real and present danger which I have already flagged up and shows how politicians, both local and national, should NOT get involved in things that they have zero knowledge of, including balcony solar.

There are NO early warnings with electricity; once a real-life danger situation has occurred, it is only discovered by people/animals coming into contact with it, which may be the last thing that they do ⚠️.

We all accept that it is dangerous to install a socket next to a sink or in a bathroom, and yet some people are prepared to risk lifes by onstreet charging from their own home electric supply. What they do not understand is the dangers of different circuits being connected to different earthing bonds etc. There is a very good reason why all extraneous metalwork in a building has to be bonded together, and this is it.
