Renault has always had a reputation, along with Citroën for an excellent smooth ride.

Not just smooth but good body control by using advanced multilink suspension rather than torsion as oft used in B segment cars. Paired with low centre of gravity too. Much better than my first Renault 5 Campus of decades ago.
