Dashcam wireing causing interference with DAB radio signal

I have a Nextbase dash cam which I have had for about 5 years no problems but have been thinking about upgrading to one of the new series 2 cameras and adding a rear window camera. Came across a youtube video showing how to install one of the new cameras, part of which suggested people had been having DAB interference problems, wonder if anyone else had experienced this Joe

My nextbase hardwire kit came with a ferrite core which when wrapped properly around the usb cable helps to suppress interference. 
 

that said I didn’t bother using it as my dab reception is flaky at best and I prefer to use smartlink.
