2017 octavia saloon lowering springs.

Recommended Posts

Hello boys and girls.

Looking to lower my 2.0 petrol vrs, issue is there is alot of threads on here making it a minefield of information.

Eibach say that the drops on there website are measured off of standard chassis, so that to me says the "pro" kit will make little to no difference.  Maybe even higher on rear.

The "sportline" kit will  drop 15mm front and 10mm rear

Does anyone have any idea have much the H&R kits will lower it by as I cant find and information on that.

Thank-you

You're taking too much off to start with.

Vrs is 15mm lower than standard.

Prokit is 35mm on standard. So 20mm on vrs.

Sportline is 50mm on standard. So 35mm on vrs.

As above, h&r should be 40mm on standard. So 25mm on vrs.

I dont believe so, I typed those numbers while reading the description off my 2nd monitor?

Where does it say that, am I mistaken?

How much are you allowing for on vrs suspension?

What site is that? I'd suggest they have the figures wrong. A quick Google shows different numbers and also other options for kits that also confirm the bigger drop.

A search for that kit you selected has some sites not even listing the drop.

It's the eibach website.

OK.  So if you change the car to the non-vrs 2.0tsi model the same part number is listed with a bigger drop suggesting that the figures are pre-calculated. Not very clear on their site.
