Does anyone know what paint colour are brake calipers on the mk2 octavia vrs?? 

The garage has just fitted a random silver caliper to my car, with all the rest of them being red... Easy as it is to order one in red.. 🤦‍♀️

I've paid too much for it to order another one. 

Looking to buy some paint and paint over it myself. 

 Recommendations on paint please? 

Also do I need to remove the caliper, or can I paint over it so long as the paint doesn't get onto the disc and pads.

 and painted before I fitted a calliper but only because I was changing it. Can’t see reason why you should not be able to paint it on the car, just the result will not be probably good as if you have it off a car and don’t let any paint on disc. Good luck
