Hi!

I have some problem in airbag control module

5Q0955655AK

 

I have no accident, the signal light on dashboard light,

 

On vcds scan write:  

1 Fault Found:

10493696 - Pre-Crash Not Configured 
          B201F 00 [137] - -
          MIL ON - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear

 

I also visited vw/skoda official repair shop, and they could not configurated,they want to sell a new module

Does anybody know what code should I write ,for sure is not FF FF FF FF.........FF FF ???

Is the vehicle standard or has anything been messed with regarding adaptations and codings?

Is this a new or second hand module that you are trying to fit to your vehicle?

Original airbag modul just stopped to work,no crash,nothing,airbag light on then I checked 26 errors,so then I bought new one(not in vw/skoda workshop),put code like in old one,remove component protection and one error stayed

that pre crash not configured!

Does anybody have 5Q0959655AK airbag control unit  to read me the whole configuration and coding

In official vw/skoda service mention that AK is not available anymore(from March 2021)alternative is a new modul  with letter BS at the end

so,new software is done!

did you buy it brand new from dealership, you should run new module with odis only and nothing else as airbag modules are one time code nowadays

yes, I bought it new parts from allegro Poland

Coding and protection of components are made over odis-vas

I would suggest you contact whoever did the ODIS work and tell them they missed something

 

Otherwise, you could try contacting Ross-tech for help assuming your VCDS cable is genuine and you install the latest software...
